On May 23, 2025, third-year students of group 31/32 IY, studying in the specialty 050303 “Foreign Language”, organized a literary evening dedicated to the works of William Shakespeare, focusing specifically on the play “Romeo and Juliet.”
A distinctive feature of the event was that the entire literary evening was conducted exclusively in English. At the beginning of the program, students presented reports on the life and work of Shakespeare, and also read poems and prose excerpts from the play “Romeo and Juliet.”
The highlight of the evening was a theatrical performance, during which key scenes from the tragedy were reenacted. The students demonstrated not only a strong command of the English language, but also a high level of acting skill.
The main goal of the event was to foster a love for classical literature among young people, to develop interest in the English language and culture, and to cultivate communication and creative skills through participation in literary and dramatic productions.
The literary evening was held in a warm and inspiring atmosphere and became a significant event in the lives of both students and faculty members.
